Can you tell us how you got started in photography?
I started on photography because of weddings. I started my business in videography for documentary and advertising. And also weddings as well. My clients asked me to shoot photos as well because the liked what they saw on the videos. So, I step into the wedding photography.
What was the first camera you ever purchased?
Nikon D80. I'm a Canon shooter nowadays, actually.
What's the latest piece of equipment you bought?
24mm 1.4 II lens
On average how many pictures do you take per wedding?
How do you find inspiration?
On movies. I love cinema. It's my biggest passion in life. My very first job when I was a kid was on a movie theather of my hometown. I saw all the movies several times. I like to think that all my visual imaginary was based on that years.
What would be your dream assignment and where would it be?
I'd love to shoot a wedding in Alaska.
How do you spend your day away from the camera?
With my wife and kids, taking care of my vegetable garden, cooking and going to movies.
How much time did you spend editing each week before The Image Salon?
2-3 days per week
Why did you decide to outsource? Why did you choose The Image Salon?
I had tons of photos to edit and I need some help with them. And with two kids in my life I needed to reschedule all my routines. I decided to go with The Image Salon because it's an idea created by wedding photographer for wedding photographers. They know what we really need. And because some of my favorites photographer were outsourcing with them.
Now that you outsource, how has your business benefited from the extra time you have?
Basically, my personal life is benefited. I love that. And family, of course.
